Across the S&P 1500, a tiny 1% change in price has an 8% change in operating profits. In fact, pricing has more impact on the bottom line than any other single variable. Yet pricing is often seen as a black art. This lack of understanding of pricing leads to lower profits, commoditization, and price wars.

Robert A. McKinney, pricing strategist with The McKinney Group, LLC will join us in August to help us better understand the strategy of pricing. McKinney will show us how companies can maximize their profits using Differentiated-Value Pricingsm. With DVPsm you will determine the price that maximizes total net profit while minimizing the risk of commoditization and price wars.

Robert A. McKinney is a Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) and holds an MBA in business strategy from Purdue University. His pricing expertise is featured in "Net Value" a new book by two Silicon Valley veterans about building value propositions that maximize value creation.
